Suez Canal blocked by massive container ship

As you may have seen, the container ship Ever Given has grounded in the Suez Canal. The ship is wedged across the canal and causes a huge traffic jam. The situation might last for several days or even weeks. This could have serious consequences for the Far East / Europe trade-lane in terms of delays and equipment shortages.
