100% renewable and sustainable energy at Euro-Rijn Group

The multiple locations of Euro-Rijn Global Logistics and Multi Cargo Logistics are provided with wind power by Scholten Energy. This renewable energy is generated by Dutch wind turbines and therefore received the eco-label of SMK.

The two companies are the newest companies in our ecosystem to receive this certification and join Rotterdam Polymer Hub, Eurosalt and BSR Van Uden Stevedoring on our list of companies that use 100% renewable energy. Alongside these companies, the Euro-Rijn Group headquarters is already certified as well.

The development of renewable energy is of course an important trend which we follow closely. We will keep on taking measures in the context of sustainability. In addition to the use of wind power, we also have a lot of our facilities equipped with energy-efficient LED-lighting. All in order to reduce our overall carbon footprint.
